Dr. Danielle has been passionately caring for chiropractic clients since 2006. Her practice centers around women and their families. Dr. Danielle’s cheerful and relaxed demeanour provides a prodigious environment in which to relax and heal. She has extensive experience working with pregnant women, babies and children. Her expertise of the human body and chiropractic, genuine love of people and her warm hands help you to feel better quickly and create the foundation of health needed for a lifetime. Greater self awareness and adaptability to stress are wonderful by products of care along with more flexibility, strength, better posture and alignment. Dr. Anita Rajan, DC, has been immersed in the field of health and wellness for well over two decades. She has known from a young age that her passion was in natural healing and that she had a gifted touch in her hands. Dr. Rajan was always drawn to wholistic therapies and knows that the body has the innate wisdom to heal, but sometimes it just needs a gentle boost.
Dr. Rajan completed her BSc. in Biology at the University of Windsor and then pursued her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the National University of Health Sciences in Chicago, IL. She began practicing in San Diego, California, where she was surrounded by holistic healing and a wellness lifestyle. She also practiced in Los Angeles, CA, learning several cutting edge techniques along the way, being influenced greatly by the creative innovation of southern California. As Dr. Rajan’s journey as a healer continues to evolve since graduating in 2003, she has been a lifelong learner, and has an extensive portfolio of techniques she uses to care for patients including Network Spinal entrainments and traditional manual chiropractic adjustments.
Staying true to her Indian roots, Dr. Rajan incorporates Ayurvedic principles into her unique method of assessment as well as her extensive experience in yoga and spa therapies. In addition to chiropractic care, Dr. Rajan’s healing skills include energy medicine, scientific hand analysis/life purpose coaching, as well as utilizing the incredible healing properties of essential oils into her practice.
Dr. Rajan is a certified yoga teacher and a trained classical Indian temple dancer. Her goal is to guide and facilitate patients to their optimal spinal mobility and neurological function. Dr. Rajan recognizes the importance of the movement of energy. The birth of her little nephew and baby niece have given her a strong draw to carry on her interest in pediatric and women’s health.
Dr. Rajan’s favourite activities include yoga, dancing, meditation, running, and swimming. She enjoys painting, decorating, writing and being creative. She is passionate about keeping active and striving for mind-body balance. Dr. Rajan believes that everyone has the capacity to feel simply amazing in their physical, mental and emotional body. With her sunshine presence, Dr. Rajan is here to bring the west coast healing vibes to the city. Her goal is to help everyone integrate wellness on the daily and living life to its fullest potential. Dr. Rajan is excited to be practicing at Vivid Health in Toronto’s Bloor West Village and to help guide patients in achieving their best strategies for health and wellness.
